KGG Major New Product Launch

------PRCMQ Micro Precision Finger Actuator Unlocks New Potential for Micro-Actuation in Humanoid Robots

KGG Major New Product Launch

Recently, KGG officially launched a new product in its PRCMQ series of micro precision finger actuators.
This integrated drive-and-control micro-linear actuator addresses pain points in micro-actuation—such as those found in humanoid dexterous hands and bionic actuators—by highly integrating the motor, transmission, sensors, and drive control. With a compact, millimeter-scale body, it achieves micrometer-level motion control and thrust output in the hundreds of newtons, providing a high-performance, domestically produced drive solution for the fields of embodied intelligence and precision manufacturing.

The PRCMQ series features a built-in hollow-cup motor, precision ball screw, dual position sensors, and a drive-control chip, enabling fully closed-loop, precise displacement control. The product features an ultra-thin cross-section design measuring 11.5 mm × 14.5 mm, is available in two body lengths (59 mm and 65 mm), has a standard stroke of 16 mm, and supports custom stroke lengths to accommodate diverse installation requirements in confined spaces.

In terms of core performance, the new product features a repeatability of ≤0.02 mm and an absolute positioning accuracy of ≤0.1 mm; it delivers a maximum thrust of 120–150 N and a no-load speed of 35–50 mm/s. Electrical specifications support a wide-voltage power supply of 9–14 V (standard 12 V DC) with a maximum current of 1 A. It utilizes UART 3.3 V LVTTL serial communication, and no-load noise is ≤65 dB(A), ensuring quiet operation.

Compared to similar products, the PRCMQ offers four key advantages.

First, its integrated drive and control system enables extremely simple deployment; with a built-in drive and control unit, no external driver is required—it is ready to operate immediately upon wiring, effectively saving internal space and reducing overall integration costs.

Second, it features micrometer-level dual-mode control, supporting both point-to-point positioning and high-speed tracking modes to meet the demands of demanding applications such as precision assembly and high-accuracy positioning;

Third, it features a compact body with high torque density. Leveraging a multi-slot pole motor and high-slot-fill-ratio manufacturing processes, the unit’s overall volume is 21% smaller than that of comparable products;

                                                Fourth, it offers high reliability and a long service

life through multiple protective measures, integrating four layers of protection against overcurrent, stalling, overheating, and low voltage, and having passed 100,000-cycle load-bearing durability testing to ensure long-term stable operation.

This new product is primarily designed for applications such as dexterous finger actuation, bionic end-effectors, and joint force control systems,

and is suitable for cutting-edge fields such as humanoid robots and precision automation equipment.

In terms of service and support, the PRCMQ series comes with a one-year warranty on the entire unit, with free repairs provided for non-human-induced quality issues.

 KGG’s professional technical team can quickly respond to product selection and commissioning needs, while also supporting customized development to meet customers’ specific requirements for unique applications.

Moving forward, KGG will continue to deepen its expertise in the micro-precision transmission sector. Focusing on the needs of the humanoid robotics and embodied intelligence industries, the company will continuously iterate its core component products and collaborate with industry partners to drive the practical implementation of these technologies.
